IPC training provides uniform information source that allows companies to have process flexibility while specifying common, end-item acceptability standards. In conjunction with these standards, the IPC has established a certified training and certification course for each standard. Presented by IPC-certified trainers, solder training provides the CIS the required training to improve his/her knowledge and enhance individual skills to each standard.
As a certified trainer, the AEIC is pleased to offer IPC certified specialist trainings for each of these standards. IPC solder training may be held either at the client facility or in convenient consortium classes. Re-certification training for each of these topics is available as well.
The said module has become the de facto industry inspection standard for electronic assembly. In its latest revision, its content has been modularized for flexibility in company inspection training. They are mandatory for certification, while the remaining modules are optional to reflect specific training needs of the client company.
Upon completing the course, the CIS receives a certificate of training, identifying each module successfully completed. This certification is valid for 24 months. Recertification includes review of the document and retesting.
